At the cottage....

...today we went to Aunt Julie and Tim's cottage on Charleston Lake. It was so fun. We went swimming and sea-dooing and boating.

Hot!

It was so hot today so after supper we got Ella's little pool out and the hose....

Ella's First Boat Ride.

Today Ella went on her first boat ride at Aunt Karen and Uncle Jeff's house. She loved it. A few times we thought she might jump out!

The cast is off!

After almost 7 long weeks, Ella's leg is all healed and the cast came off today.

Mmm...lemon.

Broken leg...

Ella broke her leg today going down a slide, her foot got caught. She was really brave. She was really upset when it happened, and then calmed down. We took her to Emergency she had an X-Ray and then they brought us into the fracture room. We didn't know that it was broken until then, we couldn't believe because she was so calm. She was just a little frightened by the X-Ray machine. She was great when they put her cast on, she was helping Dr. Gill rub in the plaster. We were in and out in about 2 hours.

Soccer!

Ella had her first day of soccer today! She met her teammates. They practiced dribbling the ball and shooting on the net.
